The couple’s portrait session may just be my favorite part of photographing a wedding — it’s a chance to capture the bride and groom alone together at last, sharing sweet moments with one another on one of the most important days of their lives. In Rebekah and Eli’s The Royal Playa del Carmen wedding portraits, you really see the special connection that the couple share. The resort itself provided some beautiful backdrops and interesting architecture that framed the couple beautifully, then, we took to the sand for a special seaside photoshoot.

I love how Eli can make Rebekah laugh and smile! Acting natural together results in the best, most authentic photos — for more couple’s portrait photoshoot tips, check out my article on how to look spectacular in your beach wedding photos.
We couldn’t have asked for a better day for a beachside couple’s portrait shoot. The deep blues and turquoises of the water really make Rebekah and Eli’s white wedding outfits pop!
The love these two share for one another shine through in every photo. Capturing that beautiful bond in photographs is so special for me — and Rebekah and Eli sure threw one Mexico destination wedding to remember! Congrats to the bride and groom.
