Talk about a picture-perfect destination wedding! With an array of delicate pink roses and carnations, swaths of gauzy fabric gently blowing in the wind, and one amazingly stylish, in-love couple, Andrew and Marilyn’s Now Sapphire wedding was an absolute dream.
The intimate ceremony on the beach was framed by the beautiful blue sea beyond, and I loved all the small touches that made the couple’s ceremony feel more personal. Andrew and Marilyn have known each other since they were little kids, and it was so special to witness the moment their families became officially united.

The final moment before she meets her groom! Marilyn seems so peaceful and self-assured, she just radiates a gorgeous sense of calm.
Isn’t the flower girl — the bride’s niece — so adorable? She nearly stole the show at the ceremony!
This look of joy and love in his face really moves me! You can truly feel the emotions of the moment, when Andrew realizes how lucky he is to pledge his love to Marilyn and build a life together.
A beautiful, sunny afternoon in Mexico created the perfect conditions for this lovely ceremony. I love how Marilyn’s long white veil is blowing in the wind.
This is the classic wedding canopy, and I never get tired of it! Each one is unique and beautiful in its own way. The flowers at the top of this canopy add a romantic, luxurious touch.
Marilyn and Andrew found beautiful ways to add Mexican traditions to the ceremony. You can see this in their use of the prayer beads.
I photographed this in such a way to make their love, commitment and the tradition shine through.
Andrew had such a spirited personality. I love to capture this in couples. During the ceremony, he made this silly expression and I quickly photographed it. At the same time, you can see Marilyn’s joy in that same moment — you can see how Andrew loves to make his bride laugh!
Here is a very personal and intimate moment that the couple shared with their own unique touch. It took my breath away.
Family is so important for both Marilyn and Andrew. You can see how happy they were to be surrounded by the people they cherish the most during their ceremony.
Everything about this couple’s beachside ceremony was swoon-worthy, and I feel so honored to be able to capture it for them.
